More squirrely shennanigans are taking place in Columbus. The nuts appear to be in abundance--three of whom found their way to the statehouse steps. I was actually going to write a more detailed post on this video, but jonathan martin of politico.com beat me to it.
Just to set it up, Strickland, Coleman and Sherrod Brown are on the steps of the statehouse in columbus opining on the McCain campaign's "shamefulness" relative to his and Palin's use of the word "socialist" when describing NObama's economic policies. Where I come from, "spreading the wealth" smacks of socialism. But hey, what do I know?!
I looked for the video where Strickland, Coleman, and Brown condemned the Obama campaigns use of the term "racist" and "fascist" or (insert ad hominem attack here), when referring to either McCain, Palin or both--but gee, I just couldn't find that video for some reason.
Anyway, instead of the press conference, the big, orange squirrel standing behind the trio stole the show. Enjoy.
