In the world of the married, the first anniversary is celebrated with a gift of paper. On our first anniversary, FLOTUS gave me the gift of a year’s 'weekend subscription' to the Plain Dealer, which has resulted in many years of disagreement over the amount of time I spend reading the paper on weekends.
Here we are on the one-year anniversary of the President being sworn in and I’m trying to decide on what I would give him for the occasion. And well, considering news out of Bay State this evening, my gift to the President would be a roll of toilet paper…because, well, he’s 1 for 4 in recent special elections and he probably…ah, well, anyway… it’s a gift of TP because that’s how I roll….
