The fog rolls in

I don't know if my view translates in this picture, but it was very cool to see the West Bank of the Flats blanketed in fog as I walked out this evening. For as long as I've been downtown, I have never seen this before.

Returning out of DCA. Had to be a 45 - 60 min line. I wasn't exactly on time, but I wasn't late either. Thank goodness for my frequent traveler access, otherwise I'da been left on the dock....Speaking of icebergs, what's this crap I hear there's snow back in Cleve-berg!?!

The DCA approach

Anyone who flies into DCA knows the approach to the field can be hairy on a good day (flight restrictions, congestion, etc.). Throw in a good cross wind on the 'left turn, high bank, jet-fighter' type approach we had today and you end up with a 1-point, 30 degree angle, right wheel landing we had this morning. Good times.
